Job Description

Summary:

You will be responsible for the implementation of our gaming and entertainment platform. You will ensure usability, stabability, and scalability of the platform with web version as well as mobile native version.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Lead the dev team of up to 8 members to develop high-scale / gaming and entertainment platform

• Oversee the integration of systems and manage subsystems

• Gather and analyze requirements, provide estimates, then carry out system design and development (including unit test)

• Lead the team to fix bugs and resolve production issues in a timely manner

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve performance, stability, and scalability

• Apply and coach the team about best practices and software development principles and then monitor and do code review to make sure the standards are followed

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

• 3+ years leading complex development efforts

• Be able to provide good estimates, be able to break down tasks to assign to team members and responsible for the final output

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with NodeJS

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in native app development (with Unity)

• Experience tuning and scaling high-volume transactional use cases

• Experience with Angular 2+

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Experience in Rest API, OpenAPI-Specification 3, server-side templating languages

• Hands on experience with Databases: MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB

• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and development tools

• Good analytics skills and good troubleshooting skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with blockchain technology

• Experience with React Native or Flutter

• Experience with these services: Photon, Nakama, AppsFlyer, Firebase

• Experience with Azure

Other skills:

• Working language: English - can communicate confidently with stakeholders/clients

• Pro-active and willing to learn and adapt new technologies

• Comfortable working in an intense and high-growth startup environment

• Ability to follow instructions and work independent as well as being a team player

Authority Reporting

Technical Lead is reporting directly to the Head of Development.
