1. JOB SUMMARY:

• Writes and executes software tests, performs defect verification, and performs beta and release testing which may require research and analysis.

• Operates under supervision.

1. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

2.1 Core responsibilities:

• Resource executes software tests, performs defect verification, performs beta and release testing which may require research and analysis Identify non-complaint SW features and document via established tools.

• Prepares technical documentation of product sub-systems.

• Conducts sub-systems and system level testing to ensure the product meets specified requirements.

• Research problems discovered during testing and develops solutions to the problems

• Perform special projects or assignments as required.

1. TARGET REQUIREMENTS:

• Resource must develop technical skills necessary to work effectively in a team, in order to design test suite for entire systems and to interact with Datalogic Infrastructure;

• Resource must reach a complete autonomy and do his job under minimal supervision and only for particularly complex tasks;

• Resource must be able to participate and lead in discussions of project status and test coverage both within the team and using long distance communications.

• Resource must develop skills to work with software versioning system, DOORS system, Dimensions system, and thoroughly understands and handles general software development process (requirements, architecture, construction, test) and its integration in Datalogic process

1. ADVANCEMENT CRITERIAL:

• Typically, a resource must hold the current position for 1 year before advancing to the next level.

• Resource must score Meets/Exceeds for all objectives in Section 2: Job Specific Performance Objectives and receive a minimum score of 66% on Overall Performance.

• Resource must pass a writen and spoken English competency test.

• Bachelor’s degree in business (IT), software engineering or computer science and equivalent

• Typically requires under 3 years of technical experience in product design and/or product support

• Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.

• Good analytical and design skills at multiple products levels.

• Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.

• Good communication s & interpersonal skills. A minimum degree of competency in English

• Advance PC skills, fluent in MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) in plus.
