Optimizely – a unicorn with more than $300 Millions in revenue, aims to build a large content cloud (SaaS) platform that includes various products to support clients in the whole customer journey's life cycle. The platform enables enterprises to orchestrate content, capture and synthesize customer info through various channels, analyze and recommend content by AI, and brings products to customers quicker through our own search engine. The platform is expected to bring Optimizely to the top in the content management world.
Content Platform team's main duty is to work on CMS that is responsible for orchestrating content and connecting other components in the platform. Our CMS has a long history and gain a huge success for over 20 years. The simplicity of main features (but useful and sophisticated), loose coupling in architecture, along with the ease of module customization and extension for developers make us the top CMS in European and be the preferred choice for mid-size enterprise for building sites and commerce platform.
In parallel with CMS features, we are currently developing a set of RESTful APIs to manage content and models in CMS and expose them to developers as a Headless CMS so that clients would have full control over the lifecycle of their sites from rendering at front-end to data administration at backend.
As stated above, your main work here includes, but not limited to:
Develop CMS features that can be easily extended/customized by other senior developers in Europe and US for their on-premises CMS (we still support) and/or SaaS later on.
Develop RESTful API Services managing content and content model for developers.
Review pull requests from people in Hanoi and Stockholm. This is an important task in our work process to guarantee quality.
Discuss situations and propose solutions with people coming from various countries.
Support other senior developers in Euro and US to use and customize/extend our framework
Quality first, so be strong at software design, OOP and SOLID, other software principles like DRY, design patterns. Those things are the heart of our products.
Have experience in writing test. We use both integration test and unit test for our work. At least, you should have one of them. TDD is a big plus.
Understand underlying mechanism of C#, .NET framework and RESTful API. Remember that we write code for other senior developers to use. Knowledge about .NET Core is a plus.
Your English should be good. You should also open for discussions and willing to raise your voice, even it's totally opposite to other people. We speak to acquire a mutual understanding and to improve products, not to criticize.
Although we always try to make commitment in a sprint based process, mostly we have no deadline, and we encourage work-life balance as well as self-development, so you should be proactive at work. You should be able to grow up yourself overtime.

Have experience on CI/CD and tools like Git, NPM
