• And now, we are proposing an opportunity for Backend Engineer to support our client, Hakuhodo Product's, one of the largest promotion production company, based in Japan.

• We are looking for a Backend Technical Leader, who can build and maintain various websites and web applications in a way that allows for easy scalability, reliability, and maintenance.

• As part of your role, you will be in charge of

• Trans.Form - our campaign platform system

• GUILD Creation - Creator/Designer digital platform

• Product's Live - Live Reservation multi platform

• Matching Service - cooking Lecturer * Student matching service

# What You Will Do Is:

• Develop high-quality web services or applications from scratch based on product requirements.

• Ensure all work adheres to software development methodologies and processes.

• Be able to implement clean, efficient, elegant and maintainable code.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (includes front-end, infrastructure, design, business, etc.) to define and build new features & products with high performance and up-to-date technologies.

# Must have:

• Passionate about coding and enjoy solving challenging problems for diverse projects.

• More than 5 years of experience building Web applications with PHP

• Strong and hands-on experience with at least one of the PHP frameworks (i.e Laravel, CakePHP, Yii, etc.).

• In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming and proficient in using design patterns.

• In-depth knowledge of MySQL and proficient in writing, optimizing SQL queries with high performance.

• Familiar with responsive Continuous Integration (i.e Jenkins, etc.) and Source code Control (i.e Git, etc.).

• A passion for system architecture as well as a driven attitude towards learning new web technologies.

# Nice to have:

• Experience in Requirement Analysis, System Design or even Test Design.

• Knowledge in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc. and Javascript Framework (i.e React.js, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)

• Ability to work independently.

• Familiar with Unix-type operating systems (i.e CentOS).

• Ability to grow up team members through pair programming and code reviews.

• Previous leadership/management experience is a major plus.

• Good English or Japanese skills.

• Experience in infrastructure development (i.e Azure, AWS, etc.).
