Bumble is now seeking for experienced Android Mobile Developer to join our Engineering team. You will have a chance to work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, while taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Your responsibilities are:

• Design and develop advanced features for the Android platform

• Create unit and integration tests to fully test and regress software

• Develop high quality enterprise-scale Android Apps

• Break down complex requirements into independent coding tasks and strategies

• Participate in design and code reviews

• Work with other teams (i.e. Product, UI/UX, etc.) to ensure delivered code meets specifications based on functional/technical specifications

• Continuously discover, evaluate, prototype, and implement new and innovative technologies

Yêu cầu

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience

• At least 1 year of recent experience building native Android apps

• Robust knowledge of Java/Kotlin and the Android SDK

• Familiar with control and issue management system, preferably GitHub

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

• Ability to think creatively in problem-solving and debugging

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science, engineering, or mathematics, depending on position level

• Experience with Android Jetpack libraries (viewmodel, livedata, paging, room) and AndroidX

• Experience with MVVM/MVI patterns

• Experience with security and/or native hardware components (GPS, camera, etc.)

• Have published at least one original Android app to the Play Store is a plus
