Measure and optimize applications to improve usability (ease of use), and to create the best user experience by exploring many different approaches to solve end-users’ pain points. Must identify business goals and user behavior, and employ effective process, to plan and execute strategy, content, user research, wire-framing, prototyping user-testing, and analytics to ensure the achievement of targeted conversion rates and positive reviews of the product. Under guidance of Head of Mobile Application User Experience Design Department, drives actions to achieve success of the product.
Translating requirements, product specifications, usability findings and market research into exceptional design solutions that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Proactively manage work queue, time, expectations and iterate design explorations to a simple but robust solution that accounts for complex requirements.
Design and deliver user research, competitor analysis, information architecture, sitemaps, user flows, task flows, storyboards, wire-frames, mock-ups, prototypes, and UI libraries which are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Make strategic design and user experience decisions related to core and new functions.
Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models and screen designs to members working on the product and stakeholders, for review and feedback.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Assist with the facilitation of User Experience research tasks. (ie: user interviews, usability testing, analyzing data, suggesting recommendations and presenting findings to stakeholders)
Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Graphic Arts, Industrial Design, Computational Design or closely related field.
5+ years professional experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect or similar product design role
Portfolio with examples of mobile application case studies, or written material that demonstrates your skills and process for creating user-centered design solutions.
Experience with utilizing IDEO’s Human Centered Design process or Double Diamond strategy model.
Experience with user interviews, story-boarding, prototyping and usability testing.
Proven record of creating iOS and Android mobile application designs and delivering high-quality results on schedule.
Language requirements: English – fluent, Vietnamese - optional
Understanding of when and how to use data to inform design decisions.
Expertise in standard UX design tools such as Post-it notes, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator,
Strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, information architecture and design. - Understand accepted UX process standards well enough to selectively abandon steps.
Strong understanding of current state of technology and best practices.
Passion for working collaboratively with a variety of members and stakeholders. Willing to collaborate cross-functionally and feel comfortable to explain your ideas and process to others.
Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation to leadership audiences.
