What is the position?
As a Manager of the Scrum Masters, you will supervise the day-to-day activities of Scrum Masters including
but not limited to administering performance reviews, progressive discipline, staffing, ensuring adequate
initial, champion the culture shift, agile ways of working and ongoing onboarding of new scrum masters,
initiating and leading complex projects ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
What will you do?
- Perform Scrum Master duties at the department-level including but not limited to coaching, facilitation of
departmental planning, reporting metrics and acting as a manager for the Scrum Master team
- Reinforce team adherence to proper business process engineering, software engineering, release
management, portfolio management, project management and quality engineering practices.
- Serve as Scrum process advisor and create partnerships across areas of the company including Software
Development (SDM), Product Owner (PO), Product Management (PdM), Project Management (PM), Business
Analysis, and Executive Sponsors to aid the project roadmap, inception and execution efforts.
- Align, lead and sponsor overall project level work in a scrum of scrum environment to create successful
delivery; including impediment removal, support of escalations, framework decisions, and cross team
dependencies across Technology and Business agile teams in order to oversee the realization of project
execution and delivery.
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more complex projects; ensure standard Scrum processes are performed
by scrum masters and team members and Product Owners; including POC activity and experimental activity
in collaboration with leadership across POs, PMs, PdM, SDMs, etc)
- Maintain working knowledge of Agile and Scrum via conferences, seminars, training, webinars, and
networking to research, apply and disseminate information, standard practices and new methods to teams. - Communicating shared vision while fostering transparency and visibility; and building a culture or agility
- Work with scrum teams to provide the framework and governance for developing and managing Enterprise
Applications across the organization
Work with Product owners to develop, prioritize development roadmap supporting enterprise applications
Work closely with agile coach, product owners and various teams on how to use agile/scrum processes in
helping the organization to be truly agile
Facilitate scrum meetings and sprint planning, utilizing the strength of the SM to build a team
Focus on specific milestones through accurate forecasting and deliverables
Lead discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within scrum teams and department
Manage 10 Scrum Masters member
Bachelor's degree, SSM, SASM, SPO, CSPO, SPC, ICE-AC, Lean SAFe Agilist
Three or more years as a leader/manager, experience building a team from the ground up
Excellent cross-functional collaboration, ability to communicate strategy and provide clear, concise direction
Tech Agnostic type of mindset, background; Knowledge of agility agile, Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, XP, Lean
Business-level English proficiency, a champion of change improving the ways of working by constantly
evaluating the culture company and client need on how best to deliver
- Understands = Masters or have a deep understanding instead of understands Agile Scrum/Kanban/Lean
and responsibilities of a scrum master, Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Needs knowledge of KPI, OKR to do performance appraisal for SM
