Working Schedule:

5 days per week with 2 days off on Monday and Thursday

Working Hours: 9 hours per day includes 1 hour for a lunch break

  • 13:00 to 21:00 on weekdays.

  • 8:30 to 19:00 on weekend

Overview of Position

Point Avenue is looking for an IT Admin Assistant cum Maintenance. As our IT Admin Assistant cum Maintenance, he/she will be responsible for managing mostly IT/Administration-related tasks for the team to oversee organizations' computer systems, upgrade and install new hardware and software, and perform troubleshooting. He/she also backs up data and manages network security. Besides, he/she also supports purchase supplies, supervise office operations. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations. To be successful, he/she must be a competent professional with excellent English and Vietnamese writing and oratory skills, along with the ability to maintain intranet systems and networks.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. IT management and maintenance: (45%)

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware,...

  • Upgrade, install and configure new hardware and software

  • Implement security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.

  • Develop and execute disaster procedures, and maintain data backups

  • Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems

  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory to ensure that they are in perfect conditions.

  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed

Logistical management: (30%)

  • Keep track of necessary items for the entire centre, including office and cleaning supplies.

  • Be the contact person with vendors to prepare cost-benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs

Administration: (15%)

  • Primary responsibilities include manning of the front reception area, assisting parents and students with needs, greeting and escorting guests, manning phone lines, and directing personnel to appropriate staff members

  • Conduct daily inspections of office cleanliness and maintenance by managing cleaning staff, daily checking centre’s classroom and facility, identifying system problems, recommending solutions.

  • Complete other tasks assigned by the first-line supervisor (10%)

Yêu cầu

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree. The candidate had information technology/computer science or relevant degree is encouraged to apply

  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring

  • Have experience with implementing, configuring, and testing solutions

  • Good at office IT skills and ability to explain technical information clearly

  • Outstanding English (IELTS: 6.0 or equivalent) and Vietnamese writing and oratory skills.

  • Be well organized and detail-oriented.

Having experience working as an IT admin or similar position in a medium-size company is a plus, However, freshers, who are eager to learn, are welcome to apply.
