• The Data Developer (ETL Cloud Integration Developer) plans, develops and coordinates all activities related to the integration of data across various sources into an organized and unified view. This individual is also responsible for the monitoring of data flow between databases, servers, and cloud services to identify and implement the most suitable data integration architecture for the organization’s needs. This individual must have proven communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of data integration best practices as these skills are critical to the successful performance of this role.

• Participate in defining the ETL/ELT strategy and design with others on development team, data analysts and data stewards

• Plan, develop and manage integration of new data and data stores into existing systems

• Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues

• Assist in the development of standards and processes to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives

• Maintain high standards of data quality through the introduction and enforcement of information handling processes and organization of the DI (data integration) processes

• Collaborate with BI team members to establish overarching strategies and service-oriented architecture

• With others on the team, evaluate results of integration projects and make recommendations based on findings

• Adhere to SLAs of the DI solutions

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, responsible to:

• Research, administer and develop or modify databases, data analytics tools, reports or other data development projects as required.

• Prepare detailed data reports and analyses, system specifications, or programs.

• Analyze, design, code, test, debug, document or maintain assigned areas of data specialization.

• Conduct problem identification and resolution (with assistance in especially complex scenarios).

• Other duties as assigned or required.

Expertise:

• Competent to work in most phases of data systems data analysis and data development lifecycles; considers the implications of changes before execution.

Experience:

• Typically has 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

• Strong direct experience in enterprise-level ETL works using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)

• Proven experience in working with cross-functional databases between disparate business units and systems

• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping

• Extensive experience with cloud data integration architectures (Azure, Snowflake)

• Experience working with a Data Lake or Data Warehouse

• Fluent in SQL

• Experience with automated DI tools

• Understanding of network protocols and standards

• Knowledge of R, Java, C# or Python a plus
