Background & responsibilities:

Today, SPS countries around the globe manage many IT services like Digital Workplace locally. SPS is working on moving the delivery of IT services like Digital Workplace to centralized shoring locations like Vietnam.

For each service there will be a “Global Service Owner” in Europe responsible for the overall service (strategy, standards, KPIs, technical decisions, etc.).

Your responsibility is to be a key player in the transition of IT services from Europe/US to Vietnam. This means you need to:

a) Understand and proactively articulate Vietnam technology/skillset capabilities to the Global Service Owners

b) Expand the Global Service team in Vietnam from currently below 10 FTEs to mid-term 15-20 FTEs

c) Lead together with the Global Service Owners the transition of the services from the various countries to Vietnam

d) Manage the Global Service team in Vietnam HR wise (ensuring motivation and engagement, coaching, reporting, administration). Functionally the team will report to the “Global Service Owners”

e) Continuously improve of the service (better, faster, cheaper) together with the team and Global Service Owners

f) Work collaboratively with other shoring locations to ensure the best placement of resources among locations, so that Vietnam (you) can fully deliver on its commitments and not promise capabilities that Vietnam cannot deliver and sustain

g) Be the escalation point for the Global Service owners in relation to Vietnam’s Global Service team responsiveness, reliability or other issues that may arise

h) Actively develop Global Vietnam team skillsets under the guidance of the Global Service Owners and replace team members where necessary

While broad technical experience is required, a great service attitude and leadership skills are as important.

15-20 staff mid-term (to be built up)

*** Education:

• University Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or similar

*** Knowledge, skills and experience:

• 5 years or more of working experience in IT environment. 3 years or more IT service experience

• Solid broad technical understanding (Digital Workplaces, applications, networks, security)

• Experience with leading teams

• Experience with providing services to international clients (internal and/or external)

• Experience in transitioning services from other countries to Vietnam is a plus
