[Responsibilities]

Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with UI/UX design and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and feels with this key to the role. This role is for a team player who will have the opportunity to learn and show their ability to develop modern look and feel web interfaces.

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Develop web styles and schemes for multiple projects

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

• Ensure that the look and feel is modern and innovative for all projects

[Skills And Qualifications]

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.

• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.

• Good understanding of Bootstrap and Material UI as this is key to the project.

• Ideally have a fundamental understanding of python.

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or performsmall adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to workaround them.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, github

• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

• Degree in some computer science/software engineering is beneficial.

Note:

1. Every front-end developer is expected to have a proficient knowledge of JavaScript, while most front-end developers should know jQuery.

2. A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished resources for the developer to incorporate into the app. However, quite often a front-end web developer needs to make some small adjustments.
