Reporting to the Senior Development Manager based in Australia, this role will be working within our development team on in-house systems. The developer must be highly proficient with FileMaker including server administration, database architecture, scripting, and layout design. They will be responsible for the development and ongoing iterative enhancement of various FileMaker-based services and user-facing applications in use throughout the business.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, enhance, document, and troubleshoot several FileMaker Pro Advanced services and applications.

• UI and layout design, scripting, and schema definitions.

• Importing and analysing data, working with server admin to automate imports, creating/updating HTML/CSS email templates and testing.

• Analyse requests/issues relating to various FileMaker solutions and provide solutions and data remediations to meet identified business needs.

• Assist with upgrades and maintenance on FileMaker servers/solutions.

• Monitor and maintain FileMaker databases to ensure that business continuity is maintained by avoiding data loss or application downtime.

• Other duties as they arise related to the needs of the development of the application.

• Other duties as may be required.

Yêu cầu

• 5+ years of full-time database application development with FileMaker Pro Advanced

• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment on multiple projects at once

• Solid understanding of relational database structure, design and complex scripting

• Quality samples of work for review

• FileMaker Certification highly preferred

• Knowledge of FileMaker Go and/or SQL is a plus

• Experience in software design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Familiarity with working on complex server-based applications in FileMaker Pro Advanced.

• Experience in developing and supporting FileMaker Pro Advanced applications that are client and web-based.

• Moderate proficiency with HTML and CSS
