ABOUT THE JOB

Your Responsibilities:

• Work with DevOps team to shape the architecture, design, and implementations of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability

• Automation of deployment and configuration processes

• Develop reliability tools and frameworks for use by DevOps team

• Drive efficiencies in systems and processes: capacity planning, configuration management, performance tuning, monitoring and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

• 3 years + in similar role

• Strong Python skills and shell scripting experience

• A good understanding of large-scale distributed systems in practice, including multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring and storage systems

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS, Google) and ready to focus deeper on AWS and Serverless technologies

• Hands on knowledge of one or more of the following AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes/ECS/EKS, Docker, Kafka/AWS Kinesis, Rancher/AWS Fargate, Microservice architecture, automated deployment tools and management of containerized applications.

• Good skills in English and the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams.

• Ability to debug and analyze problems quickly

• Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills effectively

• Ability to multitask and retain a high attention to detail
