Krystal is looking for a highly motivated SRE. As a member of the SRE team, you will design, build, maintain and operate all production services and infrastructure. You are expected to be a warrior with high “start-up” attitude when joining this position.

• Be part of an agile team building a scalable and secured infrastructures/applications.

• Monitor and troubleshoot application or system issues by deep diving into technical problems. Measure the service experience by evaluating key metrics/indicators.

• Design and build our internal systems, tools and automation to manage the lifecycle of deployment, zero-downtime upgrades, monitor, alert, and general operational health.

• Improve our CI/CD pipeline to speedup the deployment process, using data insights for automated canary analysis and rollbacks, help us release more often and with better quality.

• Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions–and then into automation.

• Continuously improve our automated deployments and testing

• Uncover systemic weaknesses in Krystal’s distributed systems via Chaos Engineering, find solutions to prevent the threat before it occurs.

• From time to time, raise your standard, learn and share your knowledge with other team members.

Yêu cầu

Must-have:

• Have experience with GCP, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.

• Can write high quality and readable code in a modern & scripting language (e.g. Python, Golang, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Have solid experience of Linux (kernel, file system, network, devices).

• Thinks about systems, edge conditions, and their failure modes.

• Have Automate Everything mindset.

• Be confident with problem-solving skills, self-motivation, good learner and adaptor, strong sense of responsibility, thoughtful and careful, work conscientiously and attentively.

Nice-to-have:

• Has experience managing production systems with “infrastructure as code” software tools like Terraform

• Good knowledge of Data Structure and Algorithm

• Have an urge to document all the things so your team don’t need to learn the same thing twice.
