Position Summary

This role is responsible for database design, implementation and performance tuning to ensure smooth business operations.

Responsibilities

1. To efficiently design tables, and write stored procedure to meet application performance requirement.

2. To advise and guide systems development team members on best practices on database query and procedure, and review codes.

3. To write and maintain design documentation.

4. To take care of and monitor QAT and UAT database environment.

5. To troubleshoot the incidents and problems reported, help to provide root cause analysis of major incidents.

Yêu cầu

1. Diploma or Degree holder in Computer Science related discipline.

2. Minimum 1 year of database design experience and 3 years’ experience with application development, preferably in banking or online-gaming industry.

3. Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), stored procedure, trigger, and indexing.

4. Knowledge of MYSQL, database replication, and data warehousing are added advantages.

5. Good understanding of database design, ERD, good troubleshooting skill is also a plus

6. Good communication skills.

7. Good English skills.

8. Able to work independently.
