  1. Principal duties:
  • Manage Business Analysis (BA) team operations.

  • Drive BA team objectives to ensure solution offers and projects are delivered within the agreed business expectations and requirements.

  • Manage pipeline of new client opportunities and business process improvement opportunities.

Engage in pre-sales activities.

  1. Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst Leader leads the team of BA professionals who ensure that an organization’s information and communications technology (IT) systems support business objectives. He/she facilitates communication between an organization’s business/client systems user community and its technology solutions development community to deliver and enhance systems quality, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability.

  • Strategy & Planning:
  • Participate in planning and developing PMO & company-wide IT strategies.

  • Engage with key business and IT stakeholders to identify changing business priorities and requirements and introduce new processes and technology to enhance the Business Analysis service offering.

  • Represent the BA team within the broader IT function and within the organization as a whole.

  • Lead the development of feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, business case development and risk assessments for various technology projects.

  • Support PMO to establish and design standards for BA, including methodologies, metrics, requirements and tools.

  • Acquisition & Deployment:
  • Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts.

  • When required, participate in the quality assurance of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.

  • Participate in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use.

  • Operational Management:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the BA function and team.

  • Facilitate the establishment of BA team structure and roles, hiring and on-boarding Analysts and ensuring adequate resource and talent allocation.

  • Manage the annual/periodical BA resource forecast.

  • Manage BA employee/team performance by setting objectives and performance metrics and standards and conducting performance reviews.

  • Monitor new opportunity requests and project requirements delivery progress.

  • Manage escalated solution estimation/project requirements issues.

  • Ensure Analysts are adequately staffed, certified and/or trained.

Yêu cầu

**** Education*:

  • University Degree in IT, Finance or Business Administration.

  • Formal business analysis qualification (PBA, CBAP, CCBA, etc.) is a plus.

**** Knowledge, skills and experience:*

  • 4-6 years or more relevant work experience in business technology solution analysis.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of an IT-related organization’s core business process and operations.

  • Demonstrated specific knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools

  • Proven experience with business consulting, business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.

  • Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.

  • Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.

  • Good analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues and products as required.

  • Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts.

  • Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, network hardware, protocols, and standards.

  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations in technology infrastructure and computer software applications is a plus.
