The incumbent will be fully responsible for

  • a portfolio of TB clients/products, support RMs with (1) focusing on a range of TB – Trade Finance opportunities across a variety of industries and (2) working closely with other internal functions to enable smooth and successful transaction delivery that meet client needs.

  • Managing risk around TB world (Local Regulation change, Internal management, AML, etc.)

Main responsibilities include but not limited to the followings

• Strategic

. Understand the department’s strategy to build up fruitful pipeline for the team’s activities plan.

. Lead the promotion of products to customers and identify and promote cross selling opportunities.

. Well collaboration with JC/GC to arrange Account Plan meeting for mining TB opportunities

• Financial

. Support the delivery of relevant banking services to customers to meet the department’s revenue targets by analysis market/customer database, understanding customers’ business requirements and preparing recommendations on suitable products or services.

• Customer

. Work closely with RMs to identify client names to be Account Planned. Work with RMs and TBPD to create their RM Account plan and TB Account Plans. Close opportunities identified under the account plan

. Partner with RMs to plan joint client calls, aim to complete at least 15 client calls per month

. Maintain and monitor accuracy of pipeline. At all times, to aim for a pipeline amount 3 times the target.

. Build effective relationships with key customers to develop new business and to deliver excellent customer service.

. Anticipate as well as be sensitive to shifting customer expectations and suggest appropriate measures to ensure the Bank stays ahead of competitors.

. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally.

. Work in partnership with Relationship Managers in the Branch and Regional Headquarters to support in promoting products and provide Subject Matter Expertise on Transaction Banking products to customers.

. Work in partnership with the customer to collect information to prepare detailed analysis to support structuring the deal and obtaining credit approval.

. Work in partnership with various departments within the Bank to support in delivering seamless transactions to the customer. Departments including but not limited to Legal, Operations, Compliance and Risk.

. Work in partnership with colleagues in the department to support in resolving customer incidents.

. Work in partnership with the Regional Transaction Banking team and Head Office to obtain support with technical issues and product development.

• People

. Leading TB Team to be proactively approach TB opportunities in Sales and Products

. Support, sharing, training on Transaction Banking products & analysis knowledge.

• Other/Control

. Well Manage and Develop presentation/pitch material for customers.

. Support Relationship Managers with structuring Transaction Banking deals.

. Support the implementation of Transaction Banking products into customer’s organizations.

. Contribute/prepare deal proposals and credit applications to ensure pricing, product offerings and the structuring of the deal is aligned to business strategy, delivers a high quality of service to customers and mitigates risk for the Bank.

. Maintain customer information in the department’s database and be responsible for the data integrity.

. Well manage the TB Risks to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and limits.

. Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

. Ensure maintain a good successor plan and support the team members.

. Support departmental initiatives to drive business growth

. Adhere to all company policies / guidelines.

Yêu cầu

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong stakeholder management.

• Strong interpersonal and networking skills.

• Good leadership, communication skills with ability to influence others using data or analysis to support line of reasoning.

• Understanding of local /regional financial laws and regulations.

• Experience and/or knowledge in Transaction Banking products including but not limited to Trade Finance and/or Cash Management.
